Welcome to the 2022 Angus Connection Sale! I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us Saturday,
October 8th for our annual production sale. We are very excited about this year’s offering, and believe that they possess
the potential to be one of the most competitive sets we have ever offered!
This past year has certainly been one to remember for our program and our customers. Since the 2021 Angus
Connection Sale, Seldom Rest produced the Reserve Grand Champion Heifer and Bull at the American Royal Open
Angus Show, The Grand Champion Bull at the North American ROV Angus Show. The Grand Champion Bull and Heifer
of the Cattlemen’s Congress, that both went on to be Supreme Champions. Reserve Grand Champion Jr Angus Heifer,
and Grand Champion Open Heifer of the FWSS ROV Angus Show. As well as several other division champions and show
winners. Seldom Rest was also awarded Premier Breeder at the Atlantic National and National Junior Angus Show.
We have been incredibly fortunate for the success that we have had, but know that it has taken a team effort to
accomplish our goals. I would like to thank all of the crew, customers, and families for the help and support, and most of
all the belief in our program! We have an outstanding team at home that works together in every aspect of our operation
from the farm side of things and in the show barn. I would like to thank Chance, Jonathon and Nathan for everything they
do on a daily basis. Chance was awarded the 2021-2022 American Angus Association Herdsman of the Year, I couldn’t
be more proud of his accomplishment!
We continue to strive to raise show cattle that not only compete at the highest level, but
also have a lasting impact on your program as well. I believe that this sale line up is an
outstanding representation of the genetics and phenotypic quality that can have that type
of influence.
